Our 3" handmade tassel ornament starts with a 3" plastic hollow ball. Natural bronze iridescent Turkey feathers are glued around the ball in rows and sprinkles of copper glitter are added. The tassel on this ornament comes out of the top, and is made from four half bronze Rooster schlappen feathers (from under the tail of the rooster). A gold hanger comes out of the center of the schlappen feathers.

Schlappen feathers are soft and flexible, and the stem is thinner than coque feathers, giving it more of a drooping effect.

The colors of the natural half bronze are a combination of cream, rich browns and bronze iridescent. These colors compliment the natural bronze of the Turkey feathers, while the copper glitter brings out the rusty shades of the tassel.
