The goose boas are 2 yards (6 ft) long, and approx 8-10" in diameter. This boa is made from the Goose biot feathers that are trimmed from the short side of the Goose wing quills. Biots are a long stiff narrow feather.
This boa is a stunning display piece or great for trimmings, not an idea boa to wear as feathers are stiff and the boa is quite heavy.
Goose boas can be cut with wire cutters without unraveling as feathers are sewn onto a nylon cord and cotton-covered wire. The cotton-covered wire helps the boa keep its shape and not come untwisted, which enables it to be used as a "Rental" boa.
