Economy marabou boas with lurex are 2 yards (6 ft) long, and approx 1.5" in diameter. These boas are made from soft turkey feathers and are the thinnest of the marabou boas. Economy boas are often referred to as a "Craft Boa", and because of its small diameter it is very easy for cutting and gluing.
Lurex is a tinsel-like product that is available in Gold, Opalescent and Silver. Its shimmer adds a touch of sparkle making lurex boas unique.
Marabou boas can be cut without unraveling as feathers are sewn onto a cotton cord.
