The natural saddle boas are 2 yards (6 ft) long, and approx 5-6" in diameter. This natural boa is made from badger saddle hackles (from back flank of the Rooster). Saddle hackle feathers are pointed and flexible with lots of movement.

This particular boa is dyed over the natural rich reddish brown color giving the boa a unique jewel tone appearance.

Saddle boas can be cut with wire cutters without unraveling as feathers are sewn onto a nylon cord and cotton-covered wire. The cotton-covered wire helps the boa keep its shape and not come untwisted, which enables it to be used as a "Rental" boa.

SUGGESTED USES: Costuming, Fashion Accessories, Floral Decorating, Holiday Trimmings, Home Decor and Pet Toys. The fact that this boa can be custom dyed in Missouri, in many colors with a low minimum of only 12 pieces per color, makes it a great boa trimming to match any project .
