Medium heavyweight chandelle boas are 2 yards (6 ft) long, and approx 6.5" in diameter. These fluffy boas are made from small turkey feathers called flats, with stripped coque sprinkled througout the boa. We have added the medium heavyweight boa with stripped coque in a size between our medium and heavy weight to give our customers a fuller looking boa that is great as a fashion accessory without having to pay the money for the heavyweight.

Stripped coque feathers are rooster feathers that have been stripped exposing the stem and leaving the rounded tip, giving a whimsical appearance.

Chandelle boas can be cut without unraveling as feathers are sewn unto a cotton cord.
