The Schlappen boas are 2 yards (6 ft) long, and approx 6-7" diameter. This natural boa is made from natural schlappen feathers located at the base of the tail of the Rooster. Schlappen feathers are soft and flexible, but wider than the saddle feathers and the stem is thinner than coque feathers giving it more of a drooping effect.

This boa is made of an assortment of natural tones of schlappen feathers, in colors ranging from beige, rust to iridescent bronze. This is a beautiful boa for trimming and decorating.

Schlappen boas can be cut without unraveling as feathers are sewn onto a cotton cord. This product is part of our Fancy Boas category.
