These Chinchilla Coque Rooster Tails are strung and dyed over the natural marterial. They are approximately 8-10 inches in length. A sturdy product, not to stiff and almost no fuzz at the bottom. Chinchilla feathers have a beige bottom with it darkening towards the top, and a stripe going across the feathers. When dyeing over the natural material the colors takes on the lighter parts of the feathers and leaves the natural markings.

The feathers are sewn across the bottom near the quill. Although strung feathers are a little more expensive, they make for clean work surfaces.

They are available in jewel tone colors.

Sold by the 1/4 pound package, with approximately 1-1/4 yards to the package.
