These strung Rooster Hackle feathers are approximately 3-4 inches in length. Hackle feathers are soft flexible feathers with very little fluff near the quill and a pointed top. The fibers surrounding the feathers are very fine and give a luxurious shine when dyed.

Strung feathers are sewn together near the quill which makes for a cleaner work space. They are available in a large assortment of bright colors, sold in 1 pound package with approximately 16 yards per pound.
