This handmade feather fringe is made from Ostrich feathers. The fringe is approx 5" long and on a 5 yd bolt and sewn onto a polyester-blend bias tape. There are approx 16-18 feathers per inch.

Ostrich fringe is sold by layers, this trim is one layer of Ostrich feathers.

The unique "Burning" process comes from a process where each Ostrich feather has had approx 1" of fibers removed and alternates the length of feather.
