These handmade hackle plates (often called pinwheels) measure 10" in diameter and are made from stripped Rooster hackle feathers that are glued and arranged onto a circle piece of fabric. There are beads attached to some of the stripped parts of the feathers.

The stripping on the feathers is a unique look that comes from stripping approx 3/4 of the lower part of the feather leaving the beautiful tips. This product is part of our Hackle Plates category.

The hackle plates can be cut to any size.

SUGGESTED USES: Although this item is used most often in Millinery, there are many other uses such as Bridal, Costuming, Crafts, Fashion Accessories, Floral, Mask Making and Pet Toys.
