Strung Turkey Marabou feathers are 5-6 inches in length. This is a mix of Blood quill, which is a softer more flexible feather with a barrel-like quill at the end, and Good quill, which is a stiffer feather with a pointed quill at the end.
Strung feathers are stitched together at the bottom near the quill. They are more expensive than the loose marabou, but easier to handle and makes for a neater work area. Sold in 1/4 pound bags approximately 3/4 yard in a 1/4 pound
